With a history of 160 years, it is one of the oldest hotels in Sri Lanka, and its British colonial-style design gives it a retro atmosphere that evokes the colonial era.

The buffet-style main restaurant is so popular that locals come to eat lunch between work. There is a travel desk and you can sign up for a wide variety of activities.

Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, but as it is an old hotel, it is not recommended for customers who are not price-conscious or looking for a hotel in the city
