Coco Royal Beach Hotel [Kalutara]

As a newer property, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, modern, and well-maintained. While there are currently no bathtubs, the strong water pressure in the showers makes for a comfortable experience, even for those accustomed to Japanese standards. (Bathtub-equipped rooms are being added in the near future.) The rooms are tastefully designed with a fresh color palette of white and light blue, creating a serene ambiance. Outside, you’ll find a wooden chair where you can relax while taking in the beautiful beach views.

A standout feature of this hotel is its all-inclusive plan, which is somewhat rare in Sri Lanka. For an additional charge, guests can enjoy unlimited soft drinks, alcohol, and a selection of snacks throughout the day. Afternoon tea is another delightful addition, where guests can savor traditional Ceylon tea, paired with fresh sandwiches and cakes—a true taste of local hospitality.
