Enjoy the best season of the East Coast (Parsikda) & World Heritage Sites for 6 nights and 8 days *Only available from May to October
♕ A luxurious holiday where you can enjoy both active sightseeing and relaxing on the beautiful beach!
Pasikuda, known for having one of the most stunning beaches on Sri Lanka’s east coast, has become one of the island’s top resort destinations. Following the end of the civil war in 2009, many new luxury resorts have been developed in the area. The ideal time to visit is from May to October, when the waves are calm, and the pristine sea, which was closed off to tourists for many years, remains as breathtaking as ever. We recommend a plan that allows you to experience both the active side of Sri Lanka—visiting World Heritage sites, going on jeep safaris, and exploring tea plantations—as well as time to unwind on the picturesque beaches.

|A fulfilling week where you can encounter various sceneries
1. Be sure to visit the three World Heritage sites!
Sigiriya
Rock in Sri Lanka, believed to be modeled after a lion,
still preserves remnants of Sri Lankan life from the past, along with murals scattered throughout the site.
Polonnaruwa
When visiting Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s ancient capital, make sure to see the iconic Buddha statue. The ruins also feature an enormous reclining Buddha, a rare sight in the world.
Kandy
The Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s ancient capital, houses the sacred tooth of the Buddha. Be sure to view the captivating story that traces its journey from India to Kandy!
2. Encounter wild elephants on a jeep safari!
Jeep safari in Minneriya National Park
Minneriya National Park, located near the World Heritage sites of Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple, is famous for frequent wild elephant sightings. If you’re lucky, you could witness a herd of over 50 elephants!
Traveling by jeep through rugged terrain and dense vegetation, you may also spot elephants and buffaloes bathing in the swamps, as well as other wildlife such as peacocks, monkeys, and crocodiles.
3. Savor authentic Ceylon tea at a tea factory!
Sri Lanka is synonymous with tea, and on your final day, visit the Giragama Tea Factory to enjoy a true Ceylon tea experience. It’s also a great option for a souvenir.
4. Unwind at a beach resort!
Parsikuda Beach offers water sports facilities, and there are plenty of water activities to enjoy.
Additionally, many resort hotel spas offer Ayurvedic treatments, allowing youto experience traditional Ayurvedic therapies.
|Introducing Lion Royal’s noteworthy Parsikda resort!
Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa:
Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa features cottages with thatched roofs and pointed triangular designs, creating a tropical resort ambiance. The name “Maal” means “fish” in Sinhalese, and the interior is adorned with charming fish illustrations. Some cottages include loft spaces, making it a great option for families and groups. The spa offers Ayurvedic treatments, providing an authentic wellness experience. The resort’s food is considered the best among the nearby hotels, which contributed to its victory in the hotel restaurant category.
Uga Bay:
Uga Bay is a luxury resort located in Parsikuda, managed by the UGA Group, known for its collection of high-end resorts across Sri Lanka. Unlike the playful design of Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa, Uga Bay boasts an elegant, chic, and luxurious atmosphere. The large pool adds to the resort’s refined ambiance, making it ideal for honeymoon couples seeking a peaceful and sophisticated “adult resort” experience.

Please note that we cannot take responsibility if you do not check for yourself.
